This product was a bit of a miss for me personally. I tested it in-store, and with the first swipe, it really seemed like something I would love. On that first swipe, it appeared to be a lightweight product, but of course, it’s hard to judge based on just a swipe on your hand. I also let myself be swayed by the price (€16), which seemed reasonable for what it promised.

It claims to deliver a perfect glow—but for me, it doesn’t quite hit the mark. While that’s not necessarily a dealbreaker, I’m always searching for that perfect glow, so it was a little disappointing.

I also find the product name misleading. On the Douglas website, it says you can use it alone, over or under makeup, mixed with foundation, or as a highlighter. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend mixing it with foundation—how would you even do that? It’s already a pretty thick, creamy, and full-coverage formula.

To make it work for me, I’ve been mixing it with MAC’s Strobe Cream to lighten the texture and to help me use it up. But overall, this isn’t a product I’d repurchase.
