As someone who's always on the lookout for that perfect dewy skin, I can never resist trying out new products that promise to deliver that radiant, glowing complexion. Recently, I had some free time and found myself popping into Douglas, once again in search of a BB cream with that coveted glowing finish. That's when I stumbled upon the MAC Strobe Cream.

Now, I don't actually own any MAC products, but something about this one caught my eye. And, truth be told, I couldn't resist giving it a try. The first swipe of the cream left me in awe — it was so radiant! I instantly fell in love with its glow and decided to buy the smaller size, which I found on Zalando (thank goodness for smaller versions, because the full size is a bit of a splurge at €48 for 50ml).

So, what is it about the MAC Strobe Cream that caught my attention? Well, it’s a versatile product that you can use in multiple ways. You can wear it on its own as a moisturizer for a subtle glow, or you can apply it under foundation for a luminous base. I decided to get a bit creative and mixed it with a recent foundation fail I had (which I’ve linked here, just in case you’re curious).

The foundation I mixed it with was a bit too thick for my liking, so I thought the Strobe Cream might help lighten it up a bit and add some much-needed radiance. And, semi-success! While the foundation didn't become completely airy, the combination did make it feel a little lighter and provided a nice, subtle glow underneath.

I have a habit of trying to finish every product I buy, especially when it’s something I’ve invested in. The thought of purchasing a full-sized product and not using it up feels like a waste, so I’m always on the lookout for ways to make my existing products work harder for me.

Overall, I’m really happy with my discovery of the MAC Strobe Cream. It's the perfect product to add a dewy touch to your routine without being overly shiny. If you're someone who loves a radiant glow (like me), I’d say it’s worth checking out — just maybe start with the smaller version if you're unsure about the price!
