The NYX Sweet Cheeks Blush is a fairly thick, velvety cream blush that feels luxurious to the touch. However, I don’t find myself reaching for it often because it’s a bit too thick to blend out easily, requiring extra effort to achieve a seamless, natural finish. It’s quite difficult to fade due to the high pigment concentration, so precision is key during application to avoid overdoing it.

The color dries down to a matte finish, which is ideal for those who prefer a subtle, shine-free look. While this can be great for long-lasting wear without any shine, it may not appeal to fans of dewy or glowy finishes. Furthermore, it’s not a particularly versatile product—you can’t use it on your lips or as a multi-purpose item, which might be a drawback for those looking to simplify their makeup routine.

I do have to say that I absolutely love the color. It’s a beautiful deep red shade, and it’s not always easy to find such a rich, dark red blush. It’s the perfect hue for adding a bold pop of color, but the thicker formula and lack of blendability make it harder to work with.

The packaging, while compact, doesn’t offer anything extra to make it stand out, and given its thicker formula, it might not be the most beginner-friendly option. Overall, while it’s a decent product with strong pigmentation and staying power, its lack of blendability and versatility make it less practical for everyday use, at least in my experience.
